TSK BELLA ~ HUSKY LOVE ~ KAYLA

Hi guys. It 's Kayla here with another layout post for you. This time using TSK Bella again from our lovely February kits. I actually thought I was done with the kits and then I had printed out this picture of me hugging a husky at a local fair. I rarely scrapbook pages with me in them and I thought it was about time and anyone that knows me knows that I absolutely love dogs.
I think it's kind of funny..we have Nae our cat lover, Adele the bunny lover and me the puppy lover!

So anyway these gorgeous papers and embellishments were left over from the kit and so I put together this layout and I love how it turned out...

I even managed to film a process video for this one. It's on my own personal channel which you
can get to by clicking the link.

and now for some close ups...

I used some of the lovely grey foam thickers left over from Juliette the PLK kit. These are just stunning and I think I have found a new love for foam thickers recently.

I also added some stitching using my sewing machine. I usually use a straight stitch but I decide to mix things up a little and add some zig zag stitching. I also used my Tim Holtz picked raspberry distress stain that I have been obsessed with and used on every layout this month I think.

So that's it for my last layout using the kit.
This has been one of my favourite kits in a very long time.

I hope if you managed to get your hands on one that you have enjoyed having a play.

We actually also have some February BPK kits left in the store and they are reduced by ten dollars. They won't last long so be quick!!

TSK BELLA ~ W & S ~ SOPHIE

Hello hello! Oh my goodness, these kits are full of so much love! So many hearts, pinks and reds and the word 'love' that I decided I had no choice but to continue to document it. This time I'm scrapbooking this photo from my uncles wedding. I just love the contrast in this picture. So perfect for scrapbooking.

That Aztec printed paper was by far my favourite in to the kit so I wanted to feature it a little more on this layout. I added some texture paste over it to mute it a little and blend it into the white cardstock.  I then applied some extra paste and some Heidi Swapp Colour Shine over my dotted Heidi Swapp mask. And of course I had to finish it off with some ink splatters.

I also added some tiny rub-ons from the BPK amongst the splatters which really added something extra to the layout.

As well as products from the two kits I also used some washi tape and some We Are Memory Keepers transparency behind my photo. Not that I needed to. I still have so much more of Bella and Valerie left over. What about you?

Thanks for stopping by the blog today.
I hope you love the new March kit's as much as I do. Can't wait to start playing with them.
Talk to you soon,

PLK JULIETTE ~ WEEK 8 ~ KAYLA

Hi it's Kayla here and I want to share my first Project Life spread using the February kits but mostly using the PRETTY LITTLE KIT ~ JULIETTE! Firstly I want to start out by saying I scrapped a spread that wasn't love themed in the lovey dovey valentines type of way. I have scrapbooked about how much I love my son, how much I love my coffee, how much I loved a day out with the family. There are so many things to love and that is why this kit is so versatile.

This was my WEEK 8 in my 2015 Project Life album. Yay! for being up to date Well I was when I scrapped this spread anyway.

Here's the process video showing you how this spread came together.

and some close ups...

I had a couple too many photos for this spread but not that many that I needed an extra insert so I use my Snap! 3x4 flip pockets to add some extra cards/photos underneath to give me that little extra space. Underneath this photo I used another photo of my son sitting on one of the fibreglass cows and journalling about out little adventure.

Another flip pocket however this time it documents some fun in the sun! This is probably the last time my son has been outside for water play since the cold has set in.  It also gives you a close up of the filler card I made using those three hearts. I was inspired by the little conversation heart brads to make this filler using some word stickers from the sticker sheet!

My weekly tile card. I used some Picked Raspberry Distress Stain to create a 'splatter' ad added a simple floral diet cut, some pebbles heart epoxy stickers and the title plus I used my favourite Heidi Swapp date stamp.

I found these LOVE scrabble tiles in the die cut pack and I thought they fitted well right over the centre of the photos stitched down. I documented about my love for coffee. It is not unusual for me to have over 10 cups a day. Eek!

Here's a look at the top right corner. I used the top right card as a little filler/journalling card and opted for some handwritten journalling for this one which I think makes it even that little bit more special. I also really like the filler card I made on that gorgeous black arrow card, I used one of those pretty gold foiled vellum hearts!

And one last little look at the page.
I hope you enjoyed see another project I have created with the kits.

Much love,

TSK BELLA ~ BECAUSE I'M HAPPY ~ ADELE

Hello hello!

Today I have a 12x12 process video of a layout I showed in my last blog post and kill a kit video.

This layout was one of my favs that I made from the Bella TSK, titled "Because I'm Happy." Another for the wedding album, yay!

I used two different heart punches to cut out a bunch of different hearts from the Kiss Kiss collection by Crate Paper to mimic confetti.

I added some gold Colour Shine mist and gelatos to create a soft background for this layout, then added my photo (layered on a piece of packaging from the kit hehe!) and a few pieces from the Kiss Kiss Ephemera Pack.

After adding some of the alphas from the kit, some thickers from mys stash and these GORGEOUS gold XOXO from TSK Bella, I was done!

I love this layout for many reasons, mainly because the photo is so dear to me and also that I tried something new! I had never used my punches for a repetitive feature on a layout - usually I only grab them to cut out one shape at a time.

This week, I encourage try something new with your kits...what will you try?!

Have a lovely week!

TSK BELLA, PLK JULIETTE + BPK VALERIE ~ KILL A KIT ~ ADELE

Hey hey!!

I'm back with something a little different for you this time...welcome to my "Kill a Kit" and layout review for The Scrappery February kits! In this post I will show you the eight 12x12 layouts I made with the PLK, TSK and BPK this month and will reveal my leftover bits and bobs in the video below.

Scroll to the bottom of the post for a video review and a more info on each layout and the products I used. :)

I had such fun with the kits this month and loved all the goodies from Crate Paper - my fav scrappy brand. I also had a play with some mixed media this month and was surprised with how much I enjoyed using gelatos. Stay tuned for an upcoming process vid on the first layout...

1. BECAUSE I'M HAPPY
(Our wedding exiting song hehe!)

2. LOVE
(I may have gone a little embellishment cray cray in this one, but hey, can you blame me? They're so gorgeous!)

3. DUCKFACE DIVINE
(Because if you can't be silly, what fun can you have?!)

4. RIGHT HERE
(Loving the pinky girly tones on this snuggly layout - pink can so be a boy's colour too!)

5. LOVE STORY
(A great way to use up scraps of paper and those pretty manufacture strips from the 12x2 sheets of paper!)

6. BEST FRIENDS FOREVER
(A top heavy cluster and photo, something I haven't tried too much before - but loving the results!)

7. YOU HAVE MY HEART
(FINALLY!! A way to use all those leftover thickers! Check out the video below for more info on the technique I used.)

8. HELLO FRIZZY
(I adore the black ink splatters on this one, finally found the perfect way to splatter without covering my desk, my photo, my hands and EVERYTHING IN SIGHT with black little dots hehe!)

Have a peekie at my video showing the leftover products I have and a closer look at the eight layouts I created.

How did you go with this month's kits? I would love to see what you made!

TSK BELLA & BPK VALERIE ~ BEST FRIENDS FOR EVER ~ SOPHIE

Hello, hello! I'm back today with another layout using the gorgeous TSK, Bella. I also used some bits and pieces from the Bits and Pieces Kit. I used more photos of my cousins as I had some left over from my previous layout. There were so many great photo's taken that day that there was no way I could include them all on one layout.

I wanted to keep it quite simple so I just used die-cuts from the ephemera pack and washi tape behind my photos. The ephemera pieces were the perfect size to matte my photos, like I mentioned in my previous post. I also used quite a few hearts from the pack in the Scrappery Kit to embellishment my layout. You can can pick it up in the store here if you missed getting you hands on a kit.

As well as pieces from the kits I have also included some products from the shop including some cute little alphas from Elle's Studio and some washi tape. So much extra goodness in the store so make sure you check it out.

I couldn't resist using some of these super cute rub-ons from the BPK. They are the perfect finishing touch and are so easy to apply. Like, really easy so be careful when deciding where to put them on your layout because you don't want them to transfer where you don't want them.

Make sure you check out the process video I created below from more details on how I created it!

Thanks for stopping by,

TSK BELLA ~ FOR LIKE EVER ~ KAYLA

Hi everyone! Welcome to another post by me (Kayla) sharing another project made with the beautiful kits. I decided to jump outside my comfort box again and give an 8.5x11 layout a go. I have only done a couple of these and have actually really enjoyed the process. There is less space to work with, but that's ok! I have also used an 8x10 photo and then cut down the edges to make it work on my layout. I absolutely adore this picture of my son taken when he was just three months old! Getting close to a year ago now! I knew I wanted to make it the feature and I didn't mind adding the pops of pink because it was all about LOVE.

Here is the process video showing how I put it together.

'

I loved the 'XO' from the Dear Lizzy Serendipity collection. These were in the BPK kit ~ VALERIE. They matched the page perfectly though and were a great addition. As was the beautiful copper butterfly charm also from BPK from the Pink Paislee Bella Rouge collection. To be honest I have realised I have used a lot of the BPK kit on this page but I just couldn't resist...the embellishments were so great!

I really loved this title from the Dear Lizzy Serendipity range. These phrases came with the TSK kit and I really felt that this phrase was appropriate to this layout and I really will love him forever unconditionally. I really love that these phrase stickers are foam. Makes them easier to apply and they stick a lot better than the chipboard ones.

This one little last sneak at my layout shows my stamping attempts in the top right corner. I am attempting to use my stamps more this year and I am not a natural stamper I must admit.

I hope you enjoyed a look at another one of my layouts.

Much love,
