PLK JULIETTE ~ WEEK 3 ~ ADELE

Hey hey hey scrappy peeps!

It's Adele back with a PLK based double page spread for you today using the PLK Juliette as well as some bits from BPK Valerie and TSK Bella.

I had such fun with the soft feminine tones of these kits and FREAKING ADORED all the embellishments included. I used lots of the Crate Paper Kiss Kiss Ephemera Pack from TSK, that packet of bits and pieces is absolutely EXPLODING with goodies. Such much value in that lil ol' pack! *dances happily*

It was a close call between which alpha I liked most this month - those darling Pink Paislee Bella Rouge Acetate Alphas (from BPK) or the Crate Paper Kiss Kiss Thickers in Dark Grey Foam (from PLK)...

I loved adding a few different embellishment clusters this week, bringing in pieces from all three kits as well as my trusty go to bits and bobs from my stash (wood veneer hearts, enamel dots and tiny word stickers).

I hope you enjoyed my second layout on the blog this month....and heeeeeeere is a matching process video!

*stay tuned for an upcoming TSK process video later this week!*

TSK CLEO ~ HELLO DARLING GIRL ~ CHARM

Last but certainly not least, here is the last layout I have created using TSK Cleo...

This time I decided to go with Hot Pink, Teal & Gold for this layout from the kit...

I have used a lot of the Serendipity Ephemera again {there's STILL more left to play with!} along with a few things from BPK ORLA...

Pink, Teal & Gold work SOOO well together! Oh and the touch of Silver Crystals...

I have to say out of the whole kit I am loving the Gold Sequin string - its GORGEOUS!

I hope you've liked how I've used TSK CLEO, it's such a fabulous kit to play around with!

TSK BELLA + PLK JUILETTE + BPK VALERIE ~ CHLOE BEAR ~ KAYLA

Kayla back again and I am on a roll this month! I have created another layout (no process video this time) I made this one late at night and I had all the supplies left over from the kit sitting on my desk. I also had this little photo of myself and my niece from my engagement party and it's rare for me to get a photo with her (I am usually behind the camera) so I really wanted to get this one in the scrapbook. I loved using all these ephemera bits to create a layout about a little girl I love dearly.

I used a mixture of alphabets. The CHLOE is from the BPK VALERIE kit and the BEAR is from the PLK JULIETTE kit. I love how these two alphas work together. I have also used my favourite Heidi Swapp date stamp.

I loved the beautiful 'shine' title word from the Dear Lizzy gold foam words. I love the font, it is so beautiful. I have always been a Dear Lizzy fan. I did a cluster of items on the left hand side of the photo. I loved the floral heart and the little paint chip that says 'cuddle'. It was perfect for this layout where I am having a cuddle with this gorgeous girl.

One last little peek at the layout. I have pulled from my stash some of the My Minds Eye wood dots because I thought they worked really well with the papers and the collection as a whole. I have punched the butterflies from the gorgeous speciality gold/white stripe paper in the TSK kit.

I hope you enjoyed a look at this quick layout I put together.

We love to see what you are doing with the kits, so be sure to share them over on our Facebook page.

Much love,

TSK CLEO ~ NANNY & ELIJAH/CHLOE ~ KAYLA

Hi guys, it's Kayla again! You must be getting sick of me *wink* I'm here to show some layouts I created with CLEO. This was our January TSK kit.  There are still some of these kits available in the store. I was inspired to scrapbook these pages when I saw this photo on my desk of my Mum holding my niece and I knew I also had a gorgeous photo of my Mum holding my son Elijah in the tulips. I realised that mother's day is coming up so I have created these pages to frame for my Mum of her two grandchildren. Nothing beats a handmade gift I say!

Do you handmade gifts for mother's day?

This first page is the one of my Mum with niece Chloe. I loved this picture taken way back at my engagement party so it is an older picture but a very cute one. The floral embellishment on the bottom left of the photo was actually an oval piece from the ephemera pack. I really didn't like it on the blue oval so I cut out the floral and used it as an embellishment that way. I have used a mixture of alphabets. The gold stickers are from CLEO however the grey woodgrain thickers are from the January PLK kit  which is unfortunately sold out.

I used these cute little ice cream icons because I thought they just added a little bit of whimsical to the page. I combined that with some more gorgeous ephemera and a gold glittered heart and rhinestone from the January BPK kit ORLA. There are still some left of that kit in the store here.

A last little peek at this page. I have used some evergreen bough distress stain from Tim Holtz to add some splatters, a gold doily from ORLA and some other assorted bits and pieces including tissue paper from the kit wrapping!

Now I can share with you the second page I created. I can't decide which one is my favourite. I am bit biased with this one because it is the cutest picture of my Mum and my son and I tend to lean towards the more boyish colours. Also this page has that GORGEOUS gold pineapple that I was hoarding. It took a lot of courage to stick it down on the page and not hoard it forever!

I picked out of the ephemera and sticker sheet the more gender neutral/boyish tones. I love the glasses and the 'shine like a diamond'.  I also included from my own stash a flair and a wood veneer banner and lots of bits and pieces from ORLA.

I love how this little cluster turned out and as I mentioned I used that gorgeous pineapple. I just love it and pineapples are mine and Elijah's thing. I craved them during my pregnancy with him and have loved them ever since...before they became cool ;)

Here's another little lucky last peek at my layout. I can't wait to frame these for my Mum and I hope she likes them.

Much love,

TSK BELLA ~ SISTERS ~ SOPHIE

Hi everyone, today's layout is featuring, Bella, the gorgeous TSK from February. While this kit is themed around love and Valentine's Day it doesn't have to feature a married couple or boyfriend and girlfriend. It could about love of any kind. I decided to scrap about my cousins, Daisy and Holly who, as you can see have a love/hate relationship like most sisters. It's mostly love though let me tell you.

To show case the beautiful papers in the kit I created this starburst design. It was actually quite quick and easy to achieve. Firstly find the centre of your piece of cardstock. Then simply cut off a strip of paper at an angle, place the tip on the centre mark then mark and trim what hangs off the page.

As the design creates a focal point in the centre of the page I decided to place my photo there as well as directing the arrows to that point to further emphasise it.

Behind my photo I have used only cards from the ephemera pack. The pieces in the pack vary in size and as I love to use smaller photos on my layouts they were perfect for creating a matte behind my photo. I would've liked to add different textures behind my photo but I created this while at Uni and didn't have anything on hand.

I have also added a couple of the puffy, leather stickers from the Bits and Pieces Kit, Valerie. So, so cute.

I also added some black chevron washi tape which I picked up from the store. The store is full of everything you need to finish of your layout, not just kits, so be sure to check it out and pick yourself up a few extra things.

Thanks for stopping by the blog today,

TSK BELLA ~ YOU AND ME ~ KAYLA

Today I am back to share another layout with you all. This is my second layout using the gorgeous FEBRUARY KITS. I used a mixture of all three kits on this layout; BELLA, VALERIE AND JULIETTE! I really do like to mix and match the kits when I get them. Usually I empty the embellishments into a cute little bowl and use them on all my layouts for the month.

Once again I was inspired by a design that I saw on Pinterest for this layout with the strips of pattern at the bottom with a centre red photo and embellishments to the top and bottom of the photo. I really like being inspired by layout placements and design. I then went to town with all the embellies and made it 'Kayla-fied'. I have a tiny obsession with using the Tim Holtz Distress Stains at the moment. The one I have used on this layout is called Peacock Feathers and it is absolutely stunning! My favourite colour by far. I think it really accents the pink really well.

Here is the process video.

I typed my journalling on my typewriter and cut it out on some white bazzill. I also used a rotary alphabet stamp to stamp LOVELY in some places on the bottom half of the page. A little bit of clustering, one of those gorgeous butterflies again. I was lucky to get one of the spares so used one in both of my pages this month ;) I loved these Pink Paislee Bella Rouge alphas as well. So gorgeous.

And a little look at the top half. The flower is a cut out from the floral pattern that you receive in the TSK BELLA pack. I also used lots of arrows. The arrows I have used on the top half of the page all point the the left and those on the bottom of the page point to the right. I thought that would be a cool design feature.

I hope you have liked reading/seeing another one of my layouts using the gorgeous February kits. I really hope you have been inspired and if you have been creating with the kits we would love to see on our Facebook page

Much love,

PLK JULIETTE - WEEK 38 - NAE

Hey guys,
So guess what?? I DID SOME PL!! I found some time on the weekend to dig into the fabulous new PLK for February JULIETTE!! I just love all the beautiful valentine like cards that are in this kit but today I wanted to show you something a little different. I didn't PL Valentines week, I actually scrapped a week from last year, my birthday week.

 photo 1_zpsa1p7ikcc.jpg

I absolutely fell in love with the bright pinks and the watercolour look of some of the cards. Mixed it in with the gold hand painted looking cards and some woodgrain and that was my inspiration for this double page spread.

 photo 2_zpsbupxmdcy.jpg

I don't know what it was about this spread but I just felt the need to embellish EVERYTHING (thanks Adele lol). I usually leave a photo or two but everything ended up with something. Some photos you cant even see at all because of the amount of thickers and what not I placed over them. Oh well, I love it (thanks Adele).

 photo 3_zpsugfpphjw.jpg

So this is my title card. I love the colours and the layered effect. I had a bit of trouble of it in the beginning because there was just no space to write anything so I have to pull in a label from a Studio Calico sticker sheet to create a little bit of space. I loved mixing both alphas from the PLK and the BPK this month!! They just worked so well together!!

 photo 4_zpshfezwyub.jpg

I knew I wanted to use some of the stunning tags from the BPK Valerie as well and so I used the blue watercolour card and a collection of stickers from the Kiss Kiss sticker sheet to layer up a love card. The 14 embellishments don't have to be used just for valentines day. My birthday is on the 14th of September and so these cards and embellishments just worked perfectly throughout my layout.

 photo 5_zpsy0xl19rn.jpg

I also dug into the little banners from the BPK Valerie and layered them on some of the ephemera from the TSK Bella. I also added some of the gold phrase stickers from one of our first kits ever, our BPK Gloria. I just love this little embellishment cluster and works so well on the bright greens of the rainforest.

 photo 6_zpsdkydmqdw.jpg

I also enjoyed layering stickers and ephemera together. They were the same image, just in two different forms and I love the shadowed effect the two create. I really enjoyed layering and embellishment clustering on this layout (if you hadn't already figured it out).

And finally, if you want to check out how I did all of this, here is my process video that you can find on our Scrappery Youtube Channel. We are so blessed to have over 2000 subscribers now! TSK BELLA ~ HAPPY ~ KAYLA

Hi guys welcome to my first project with the FEBRUARY KITS today I am showing you a layout I created with TSK BELLA. Unfortunately this kit sold out really quickly however there are still subscriptions available for next month and I have also featured a lot of our BITS & PIECES kit for February VALERIE on this page too which is still available for purchase in the store.

Once again I decided to challenge myself to use a boy photo with girly-ish patterns and embellishments. The overall end result was a girly page but I scrapbooked how much I love my son so I really didn't mind. The Crate Paper Kiss Kiss collection has a valentines theme although not too overpowering so you can scrapbook anything you love in your life and let's face it my son stole my heart from day one.

I was inspired by some recent pages I have seen on Pinterest for this layout, with the triangles on opposite corners framing the photograph. I think visually it leads your eye into the photograph. I even got out the sewing machine for a wee bit of stitching!

Check out the process video here.

I used one of the Pink Paislee Bella Rouge copper charms on tis layout. I loved the diamond and I used some twine and one of the gorgeous Crate Paper Kiss Kiss tags from the BPK kit to let the charm 'hang' from the page. I have also used some of my favourite gold sequin trim from last month's BPK kit ~ ORLA.

I braved my anxieties and actually journalled on the page. On a layout about how much I loved my son I thought it would be nice to put a 'bit of me' on the page. I also used one of the gorgeous Dear Lizzy gold foam words. These are so gorgeous and I thought the title sort of had two meanings for me. In the photograph I snapped as a candid snap of my son he looks so happy, but also he makes me so happy.

I fell in love with this sequinned butterfly that came in the kit. HOW GORGEOUS. I love the black one and it looks so cute on this page. I used my Tim Holtz tiny attacher to adhere it to the page. I also used the Crate Paper Kiss Kiss rub ons from the BPK kit to add some special touches to the page. It looks like a stamp but underneath the title I added a rub on that says, "You are my sun my moon & all of my stars". I absolutely love this quote!

I hope you enjoyed this look at my layout and the first of quite a few layouts using this month's gorgeous kits. Be sure to go and check out the store where you can still grab a few of the kits and the extras available.

Much love,

TSK CLEO ~ DAY TRIP ~ CHARM

Hello Everyone!

Today I wanted to share a layout I have created using TSK Cleo - WOW! What a kit this is! I have managed to create THREE layouts and STILL have lots left over!

I started out by giving a few squirts of Heidi Swapp Color Shine Gold to the patterned paper, then added the matted Adelaide Zoo photo, using a mix of patterned papers from the kit.

I have then added a mix of embellishments from the kit ~ before I stitch the patterned paper down that has matted my photo, I like to tuck a few embellishments some underneath and some overlapping until I think it looks *right*.

To give some of the Die Cuts a bit of dimension I have added some foam mounting tape to the back of them to lift them off the page slightly. This makes the layout not look so *flat* and give it a bit more depth.

I hope I have inspired you to grab your TSK Cleo Kit {if you haven't already} and have a play...

and if you haven't grabbed one of them yet I think there are still a few in store...

I have two more layouts to share with you! So make sure you keep popping in here at the blog - not only to see my creations but the amazing creations from the rest of the team as well!

Happy Creating!
